With the triumph, Auburn advances its record to 8-3 on the campaign. The Eagles host George Wythe (Wytheville, VA) to clash with the Maroons in a Mountain Empire test on Thursday, May 8. The Maroons come into the test with a record of 6-4.

The Blue Devils now have a 2-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to George Wythe for a Mountain Empire test on Monday, May 5. Grayson County will clash with a Maroons team coming off a 7-0 non-league win over Holston (Damascus, VA). The Maroons record now stands at 6-4.
