The Clarke County Eagles smashed the visiting Strasburg Rams soccer team by a final score of 8-0 in Wednesday's league match.
With the triumph, Clarke County moves its record to 7-5 on the campaign. The Eagles host Page County (Shenandoah, VA) to meet the Panthers in a Bull Run match on Thursday, May 1. The Panthers come into the match with a record of 6-3. Page County won 4-1 in their recent league match against Central Woodstock (Woodstock, VA)
The Rams now sport a 1-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rappahannock County for a Bull Run match on Friday, May 2. Strasburg will meet a team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Lancaster (Lancaster, VA). The record now stands at 4-5.
