The Anchor Bay Tars softball team scored 13 runs and held the host Armada Tigers to 7 in the Tars non-league win on Wednesday.

The Tars now possess a 11-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Romeo for a Macomb Area - Red battle on Thursday, May 1. Anchor Bay will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 8-0 league loss to Utica Ford (Sterling Heights, MI). The Bulldogs record now stands at 9-5.

With the loss, Armada moves to 9-5 on the season. The Tigers host Yale (Yale, MI) to confront the Bulldogs in a Blue Water Area battle on Tuesday, May 6. The Bulldogs come into the battle with a record of 4-2. Yale lost 5-4 in their recent non-league battle against Roosevelt (Wyandotte, MI)
