The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the Lexington Minutemen (Lexington, OH) and the visiting Ashland Arrows (Ashland, OH), observed Lexington's softball team prevail over Ashland by a tally of 11-1.

The Minutemen (16-2) will now prepare for their bout against Clear Fork (Bellville, OH). The Colts go into the non-league bout with a 11-6 record. In their last bout, Clear Fork knocked off Shelby (Shelby, OH), 7-1, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Arrows clash with the Wooster Generals (Wooster, OH) in a Ohio Cardinal bout, on Thursday, May 1. Ashland will attempt to advance on its 3-11 season record. The Generals go into the bout with a 4-16 record after their 8-2 non-league loss to Dover (Dover, OH).
