Oregon High School Softball - Vale bounces Baker/Powder Valley

The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Vale Vikings (Vale, OR) and the visiting Baker/Powder Valley Bulldogs (Baker City, OR), observed Vale's softball team notch a victory over Baker/Powder Valley by a final score of 10-1.
The Vikings (9-2) will now prepare for their bout against Heppner/Ione (Heppner, OR). The Mustangs go into the non-league bout with a 5-1 record. In their last bout, Heppner/Ione gained a win over Irrigon (Irrigon, OR), 19-0, in a league bout.
In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the La Grande Tigers (La Grande, OR) in a 4A Greater Oregon bout, on Friday, May 2. Baker/Powder Valley will attempt to better on its 3-5 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 15-0 record after their 7-5 league win over Pendleton (Pendleton, OR).
