Pennsylvania High School Softball - Kennett bested by Bayard Rustin

The Bayard Rustin Golden Knights triumphed over the host Kennett Blue Demons softball squad by a count of 14-3 in Wednesday's league challenge.

Next, the Golden Knights meet the Great Valley Patriots (Malvern, PA) in a Ches-Mont challenge, on Monday, May 5. Bayard Rustin will attempt to upgrade on its 16-1 season record. The Patriots enter the challenge with a 7-9 record after their 17-3 league win over Sun Valley (Aston, PA).

The Blue Demons (4-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Octorara Area (Atglen, PA). The Braves enter the non-league challenge with a 11-8 record. In their last challenge, Octorara Area was routed by Lancaster Catholic (Lancaster, PA), 6-0, in a non-league challenge.
