Pennsylvania High School Softball - Hanover bested by Biglerville

The Biglerville Canners triumphed over the host Hanover Nighthawks softball squad by a count of 21-4 in Wednesday's league challenge.

Next, the Canners meet the Fairfield Knights (Fairfield, PA) in a York-Adams 3 challenge, on Thursday, May 1. Biglerville will attempt to upgrade on its 12-4 season record. The Knights enter the challenge with a 8-9 record after their 15-4 league win over York County Tech (York, PA).

The Nighthawks (3-12) will now prepare for their challenge against York Catholic (York, PA). The Fighting Irish enter the York-Adams 3 challenge with a 1-13 record. In their last challenge, York Catholic was routed by Delone Catholic (McSherrystown, PA), 15-0, in a league challenge.
