The Buffalo Bison triumphed over the visiting Calhoun Red Devils softball squad by a count of 10-2 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Bison meet the George Washington Patriots (Charleston, WV) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, May 1. Buffalo will attempt to upgrade on its 10-5 season record. The Patriots enter the challenge with a 12-8 record after their 8-5 non-league win over St. Albans (St. Albans, WV).

The Red Devils (7-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Webster County (Upper Glade, WV). The Highlanders enter the Little Kanawha challenge with a 4-12 record. In their last challenge, Webster County was routed by Greenbrier West (Charmco, WV), 21-0, in a league challenge.
