Pennsylvania High School Softball - J.P. McCaskey can't get by Cedar Crest

The Cedar Crest Falcons edged the visiting J.P. McCaskey Red Tornado softball squad by a count of 21-20 in Wednesday's league challenge.

Next, the Falcons meet the Northern Lebanon Vikings (Fredericksburg, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, May 2. Cedar Crest will attempt to upgrade on its 3-14 season record. The Vikings enter the challenge with a 12-3 record after their 16-4 league win over Cocalico (Denver, PA).

The Red Tornado (7-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Muhlenberg (Laureldale, PA). The Muhls enter the non-league challenge with a 6-11 record. In their last challenge, Muhlenberg was nudged by Exeter Township (Reading, PA), 22-0, in a league challenge.
