The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Crosby-Ironton Rangers (Crosby, MN) and the host Marshall Hilltoppers (Duluth, MN), observed Crosby-Ironton's softball team get by Marshall by a final score of 19-16.

The Rangers (3-7) will now prepare for their bout against Pine City (Pine City, MN). The Dragons go into the non-league bout with a 1-9 record. In their last bout, Pine City was routed by Hinckley-Finlayson (Hinckley, MN), 13-9, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Hilltoppers battle the Superior Spartans (Superior, WI) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, May 1. Marshall will attempt to better on its 0-5 season record. The Spartans go into the bout with a 5-4 record after their 7-3 non-league win over Cloquet (Cloquet, MN).
