The Eden Prairie Eagles triumphed over the visiting St. Michael-Albertville Knights softball squad by a count of 7-2 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Eagles play the Edina Hornets (Edina, MN) in a Lake challenge, on Thursday, May 1. Eden Prairie will attempt to upgrade on its 6-5 season record. The Hornets enter the challenge with a 7-4 record after their 6-5 non-league loss to Owatonna (Owatonna, MN).
The Knights (6-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Buffalo (Buffalo, MN). The Bison enter the challenge with a 2-9 record. In their last challenge, Buffalo was routed by Wayzata (Plymouth, MN), 11-3, in a league challenge.
