Pennsylvania High School Softball - United drops to Ferndale

Ferndale Yellow Jackets (Johnstown, PA) supporters left the game thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad topple the visiting United Lions (Armagh, PA), 18-3 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Ferndale improves its record to 9-4 on the year. The Yellow Jackets travel to Berlin Brothersvalley (Berlin, PA) to face the Mountaineers in a non-league game on Thursday, May 1. The Mountaineers enter the game with a record of 11-1. Berlin Brothersvalley won 17-2 in their recent league game against North Star (Boswell, PA)

The Lions now hold a 0-15 record. They play next when they travel to Portage for a Heritage game on Thursday, May 1. United will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 14-1 league win over United (Armagh, PA). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-13.
