Halifax Wildcats (Halifax, PA) supporters left the game pleased Wednesday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Juniata Indians (Mifflintown, PA), 12-2 in a league game.

With the triumph, Halifax improves its record to 6-7 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Newport (Newport, PA) to play the Buffaloes in a Tri-Valley game on Thursday, May 1. The Buffaloes enter the game with a record of 2-3. Newport lost 13-3 in their recent league game against Susquenita (Duncannon, PA)

The Indians now hold a 1-7 record. They play next when they travel to Greenwood for a Tri-Valley game on Monday, May 5. Juniata will clash with a Wildcats team coming off a 13-6 league win over East Juniata (McAlisterville, PA). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-12.
