In Wednesday's non-league test, the Wirt County Tigers (Elizabeth, WV) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Hannan Wildcats (Ashton, WV), by a tally of 15-0.

Next, the Tigers meet the Tyler Knights (Sistersville, WV) in a Little Kanawha test, on Thursday, May 1. Wirt County will attempt to advance on its 7-11 season record. The Knights go into the test with a 8-15 record after their 10-0 league loss to Gilmer County (Glenville, WV).

The Wildcats (0-10) will now prepare for their test against Phelps (Phelps, KY). The Hornets go into the non-league test with a 0-13 record. In their last test, Phelps was routed by Mount View (Welch, WV), 15-7, in a non-league test.
