Illinois High School Softball - Hersey sneaks past Prospect

April 30, 2025: Mt. Prospect, IL 60056

The Hersey Huskies (Arlington Heights, IL) softball nipped the host Prospect Knights (Mt. Prospect, IL), 10-9 in Wednesday's league outing.

The Huskies now sport a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Conant for a Mid-Suburban West outing on Friday, May 2. Hersey will encounter a Cougars team coming off a 10-0 league loss to Barrington (Barrington, IL). The Cougars record now stands at 7-6.

With the loss, Prospect moves to 17-4 on the season. The Knights travel to Palatine (Palatine, IL) to encounter the Pirates in a Mid-Suburban West outing on Thursday, May 1. The Pirates come into the outing with a record of 9-9. Palatine won 10-3 in their recent league outing against Schaumburg (Schaumburg, IL)
