Ohio High School Softball - Huntington Zane Trace

The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the Huntington Huntsmen (Chillicothe, OH) and the host Zane Trace Pioneers (Chillicothe, OH), observed Huntington's softball team get by Zane Trace by a tally of 8-5.

The Huntsmen (9-11) will now prepare for their bout against Paint Valley (Bainbridge, OH). The Bearcats go into the Scioto Valley bout with a 5-12 record. In their last bout, Paint Valley was routed by Adena (Frankfort, OH), 11-6, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Pioneers clash with the Unioto Shermans (Chillicothe, OH) in a Scioto Valley bout, on Friday, May 2. Zane Trace will attempt to advance on its 7-12 season record. The Shermans go into the bout with a 11-8 record after their 9-1 league win over Southeastern (Chillicothe, OH).
