The Thornton Fractional South Red Wolves softball squad (Lansing, IL), was routed 11-3 in Wednesday's non-league outing with the visiting Illinois Lutheran Chargers (Crete, IL)

The Chargers now sport a 7-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Anne for a River Valley outing on Monday, May 5. Illinois Lutheran will encounter a Cardinals team coming off a 12-1 league loss to Donovan (Donovan, IL). The Cardinals record now stands at 2-9.

With the loss, Thornton Fractional South moves to 1-19 on the season. The Red wolves host Argo (Summit, IL) to encounter the Argonauts in a South Suburban outing on Thursday, May 1. The Argonauts come into the outing with a record of 14-4. Argo lost 5-4 in their recent league outing against Oak Lawn (Oak Lawn, IL)
