Mesilla Valley Christian School SonBlazers (Las Cruces, NM) supporters left the game thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad topple the visiting Mescalero Apache Chiefs (Mescalero, NM), 17-0 in a league game.
With the triumph, Mesilla Valley Christian School improves its record to 14-6 on the year. The SonBlazers host McCurdy (Espanola, NM) to face the Bobcats in a non-league game on Friday, May 2. The Bobcats enter the game with a record of 8-15. McCurdy lost 8-2 in their recent league game against Mora (Mora, NM)
The Chiefs now hold a 2-18 record.
