Northern Potter Panthers (Ulysses, PA) backers left the game pleased Wednesday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Smethport Hubbers (Smethport, PA), 23-2 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Northern Potter upgrades its record to 10-4 on the year. The Panthers host Oswayo Valley (Shinglehouse, PA) to battle the Green Wave in a North Tier bout on Friday, May 2. The Green Wave go into the bout with a record of 1-5. Oswayo Valley lost 10-2 in their recent non-league bout against Bucktail (Farwell, PA)

In their next game, the Hubbers battle the Williamson Warriors (Tioga, PA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, May 5. Smethport will attempt to advance on its 0-3 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 7-6 record after their 9-8 league loss to Cowanesque Valley (Westfield, PA).
