South Carolina High School Softball - Northwestern bounces South Pointe

April 30, 2025: Rock Hill, SC 29730

The Northwestern Trojans softball team scored 15 runs and held the host South Pointe Stallions to 0 in the Trojans non-league win on Wednesday.

The Trojans now sport a 6-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Indian Land for a AAAAA Region 3 battle on Thursday, May 1. Northwestern will confront a Warriors team coming off a 10-9 league loss to Fort Mill (Fort Mill, SC). The Warriors record now stands at 9-6.

With the loss, South Pointe moves to 2-17 on the season. The Stallions host Broome (Spartanburg, SC) to confront the Centurions in a non-league battle on Thursday, May 1. The Centurions come into the battle with a record of 6-18. Broome won 4-3 in their recent league battle against Chapman (Inman, SC)
