The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the Shadow Hills Knights (Indio, CA) and the host Palm Springs Indians (Palm Springs, CA), observed Shadow Hills's softball team prevail over Palm Springs by a tally of 15-0.

The Knights (17-3) will now prepare for their bout against Rancho Mirage (Rancho Mirage, CA). The Rattlers go into the Desert Empire bout with a 13-8 record. In their last bout, Rancho Mirage was routed by La Quinta (La Quinta, CA), 20-7, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Indians clash with the Palm Desert Aztecs (Palm Desert, CA) in a Desert Empire bout, on Friday, May 2. Palm Springs will attempt to advance on its 4-14 season record. The Aztecs go into the bout with a 9-12 record after their 10-0 league loss to Shadow Hills (Indio, CA).
