Washington High School Softball - Peninsula River Ridge

The River Ridge Hawks the visiting Peninsula Seahawks softball squad by a count of 9-6 in Wednesday's league challenge.

Next, the Hawks play the North Thurston Rams (Lacey, WA) in a 3A South Sound challenge, on Friday, May 2. River Ridge will attempt to upgrade on its 13-6 season record. The Rams enter the challenge with a 8-8 record after their 13-6 league win over Capital (Olympia, WA).

The Seahawks (12-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Gig Harbor (Gig Harbor, WA). The Tides enter the non-league challenge with a 13-2 record. In their last challenge, Gig Harbor edged Mount Tahoma (Tacoma, WA), 14-1, in a league challenge.
