Michigan High School Softball - Pewamo-Westphalia sneaks past Saranac

The Pewamo-Westphalia Pirates softball team scored 8 runs and held the host Saranac Redhawks to 7 in the Pirates league win on Wednesday.

The Pirates now possess a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dansville for a Central Michigan battle on Tuesday, May 6. Pewamo-Westphalia will confront a Aggies team coming off a 21-0 non-league win over Morrice (Morrice, MI). The Aggies record now stands at 14-4.

With the loss, Saranac moves to 3-5 on the season. The Redhawks host St. Patrick (Portland, MI) to confront the Shamrocks in a Central Michigan battle on Monday, May 5. The Shamrocks come into the battle with a record of 2-2.
