The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the Pope John Paul II (Royersford, PA) and the host Pottsgrove Falcons (Pottsgrove, PA), observed Pope John Paul II's softball team prevail over Pottsgrove by a tally of 11-1.
The (11-6) will now prepare for their bout against Interboro (Prospect Park, PA). The Buccaneers go into the non-league bout with a 12-2 record. In their last bout, Interboro knocked off Penn Wood (Lansdowne, PA), 17-0, in a league bout.
In their next game, the Falcons clash with the Norristown Eagles (Norristown, PA) in a Pioneer bout, on Monday, May 5. Pottsgrove will attempt to advance on its 4-9 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 6-7 record after their 14-4 non-league loss to Pennridge (Perkasie, PA).
