The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Shore Regional Blue Devils (West Long Branch, NJ) and the visiting St. Rose Purple Roses (Belmar, NJ), observed Shore Regional's softball team get by St. Rose by a tally of 12-11.

The Blue Devils (11-4) will now prepare for their bout against Red Bank Regional (Little Silver, NJ). The Bucs go into the non-league bout with a 7-6 record. In their last bout, Red Bank Regional was nipped by Monmouth Regional (Tinton Falls, NJ), 14-7, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Purple Roses clash with the Red Bank Regional Bucs (Little Silver, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, May 3. St. Rose will attempt to advance on its 6-5 season record. The Bucs go into the bout with a 7-8 record after their 16-3 non-league loss to Shore Regional (West Long Branch, NJ).
