South Carolina High School Softball - Summerville bounces West Ashley

In Wednesday's league match, the visiting Summerville Green Wave softball team scored a tight 6-2 win over the West Ashley Wildcats.
The Green Wave (25-0) will now prepare for their match against Fort Dorchester (North Charleston, SC). The Patriots come into the AAAAA Region 8 match with a 14-5 record. In their last match, Fort Dorchester nipped Stall (Charleston, SC), 21-0, in a league match.
In their next game, the Wildcats confront the Ashley Ridge Swamp Foxes (Summerville, SC) in a AAAAA Region 8 match, on Friday, May 2. West Ashley will attempt to better on its 16-5 season record. The Swamp Foxes come into the match with a 10-11 record after their 9-1 league win over James Island (Charleston, SC).
