California High School Baseball - Benicia held off by Alhambra

The Benicia Panthers baseball squad (Benicia, CA), 5-3 in Thursday's league contest with the visiting Alhambra Bulldogs (Martinez, CA)

With the triumph, Alhambra moves its record to 13-6 on the season. The Bulldogs host Clayton Valley Charter (Concord, CA) to confront the Eagles in a Diablo- Foothill contest on Tuesday, May 5. The Eagles come into the contest with a record of 17-3. Clayton Valley Charter won 6-1 in their recent league contest against Campolindo (Moraga, CA)

The Panthers now possess a 10-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hercules for a non-league contest on Monday, May 4. Benicia will confront a Titans squad coming off a 15-3 league loss to Saint Mary's (Albany, CA). The Titans record now stands at 3-20.
