Minnesota High School Baseball - Austin loses to Faribault

April 30, 2026: Austin, MN 55912

Faribault Falcons (Faribault, MN) supporters exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they witnessed their baseball team beat the host Austin Packers (Austin, MN), 7-2 in a league game.

The Falcons (3-6) will now prepare for their game against Kasson-Mantorville (Kasson, MN). The Komets go into the non-league game with a 6-4 record. In their last game, Kasson-Mantorville nudged Lake City (Lake City, MN), 9-4, in a league game.

Next, the Packers play the Red Wing Wingers (Red Wing, MN) in a Big 9 game, on Tuesday, May 5. Austin will attempt to improve on its 3-7 season record. The Wingers go into the game with a 5-4 record after their 2-1 league loss to Winona (Winona, MN).
