Idaho High School Baseball - Wendell nips Declo

The Wendell Trojans baseball team scored 4 runs and held the host Declo Hornets to 3 in the Trojans non-league win on Thursday.

The Trojans now own a 13-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Malad for a non-league test on Friday, May 1. Wendell will play a Dragons team coming off a 13-2 league win over Soda Springs (Soda Springs, ID). The Dragons record now stands at 17-4.

With the defeat, Declo drops to 13-7 on the year. The Hornets host Lighthouse Christian (Twin Falls, ID) to play the Lions in a non-league test on Friday, May 1. The Lions go into the test with a record of 12-5. Lighthouse Christian won 17-9 in their recent non-league test against Soda Springs (Soda Springs, ID)
