The Jonathan Alder Pioneers baseball team scored 7 runs and held the visiting Tecumseh Arrows to 0 in the Pioneers league win on Thursday.

The Pioneers now hold a 16-0 record. They take the field next when they host North Union for a non-league test on Friday, May 1. Jonathan Alder will play a Wildcats team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Shawnee (Springfield, OH). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-13.

With the defeat, Tecumseh drops to 7-9 on the year. The Arrows host Northwestern (Springfield, OH) to play the Warriors in a non-league test on Friday, May 1. The Warriors go into the test with a record of 4-11. Northwestern lost 12-1 in their recent league test against Benjamin Logan (Bellefontaine, OH)
