Kentucky High School Baseball - Model loses to Rowan County

April 30, 2026: Richmond, KY 40475

The Model Patriots baseball squad (Richmond, KY), was overwhelmed 17-5 in Thursday's non-league contest with the visiting Rowan County Vikings (Morehead, KY)

With the triumph, Rowan County moves its record to 15-11 on the season. The Vikings travel to Blazer (Ashland, KY) to confront the Tomcats in a non-league contest on Monday, May 4. The Tomcats come into the contest with a record of 23-3.

The Patriots now possess a 2-20 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bluegrass United for a non-league contest on Friday, May 1. Model will confront a Bluehawks squad coming off a 15-0 non-league loss to West Jessamine (Nicholasville, KY). The Bluehawks record now stands at 6-12.
