Troy Trojans (Troy, KS) supporters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad topple the host Atchison County Tigers (Effingham, KS), 17-0 in a league game.

With the triumph, Troy improves its record to 6-6 on the year. The Trojans travel to Atchison (Atchison, KS) to face the Phoenix in a Kansas City - Kansas game on Monday, May 4. The Phoenix enter the game with a record of 5-5.

The Tigers now hold a 0-18 record. They play next when they host Onaga for a non-league game on Friday, May 1. Atchison County will face a Buffaloes squad coming off a 8-7 league win over Doniphan West (Highland, KS). The Buffaloes record now stands at 10-4.
