Wisconsin High School Softball - Southwestern succumbs to Cuba City

April 30, 2026: Cuba City, WI 53807

In Thursday's league test, the Cuba City Cubans (Cuba City, WI) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Southwestern Wildcats (Hazel Green, WI), by a tally of 12-0.

Next, the Cubans clash with the Platteville Hillmen (Platteville, WI) in a non-league test, on Friday, May 1. Cuba City will attempt to advance on its 6-5 season record. The Hillmen go into the test with a 5-5 record after their 2-1 league loss to Prairie du Chien (Prairie du Chien, WI).

The Wildcats (3-10) will now prepare for their test against Mineral Point (Mineral Point, WI). The Pointers go into the SWAL test with a 15-3 record. In their last test, Mineral Point prevailed over Deerfield (Deerfield, WI), 6-1, in a non-league challenge.
