The Sumner Spartans softball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting Curtis Vikings to 0 in the Spartans league win on Thursday.

The Spartans now possess a 11-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Olympia for a non-league battle on Friday, May 1. Sumner will confront a Bears team coming off a 7-5 league loss to Bonney Lake (Bonney Lake, WA). The Bears record now stands at 6-12.

With the loss, Curtis moves to 4-14 on the season.
