In Thursday's league test, the Paramount Pirates (Paramount, CA) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Dominguez Dons (Compton, CA), by a tally of 13-0.
Next, the Pirates clash with the Norwalk Lancers (Norwalk, CA) in a Suburban test, on Tuesday, May 5. Paramount will attempt to advance on its 16-5 season record. The Lancers go into the test with a 14-9 record after their 16-4 non-league win over Firebaugh (Lynwood, CA).
The Dons (0-8) will now prepare for their test against Lynwood (Lynwood, CA). The Knights go into the Mid-Cities test with a 4-12 record. In their last test, Lynwood was routed by Bellflower (Bellflower, CA), 15-5, in a league test.
