Next, the Knights meet the Islip Buccaneers (Islip, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, May 2. John Glenn will attempt to upgrade on its 3-9 season record. The Buccaneers enter the challenge with a 7-9 record after their 6-2 league loss to Miller Place (Miller Place, NY).

The Mariners (0-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Shoreham-Wading River (Shoreham, NY). The Wildcats enter the Section 11 C/D-8 challenge with a 7-4 record. In their last challenge, Shoreham-Wading River edged Center Moriches (Center Moriches, NY), 6-5, in a league challenge.
