Wisconsin High School Softball - Mauston topped by Ripon

Ripon Tigers (Ripon, WI) backers left the game pleased Thursday as they saw their softball squad thwart the host Mauston Golden Eagles (Mauston, WI), 24-0 in a league game.

With the triumph, Ripon upgrades its record to 12-2 on the year. The Tigers host Adams-Friendship (Adams, WI) to play the Green Devils in a South Central game on Tuesday, May 5. The Green Devils enter the game with a record of 13-2. Adams-Friendship won 16-1 in their recent league game against Berlin (Berlin, WI)

The Golden Eagles now own a 1-11 record. They play next when they host Hillsboro for a non-league game on Friday, May 1. Mauston will play a Tigers squad coming off a 13-0 league win over Wonewoc-Center (Wonewoc, WI). The Tigers record now stands at 8-5.
