The McDonell Central Macks triumphed over the host Regis Ramblers softball squad by a count of 10-1 in Thursday's league challenge.
Next, the Macks meet the Thorp Cardinals (Thorp, WI) in a Cloverbelt - West challenge, on Tuesday, May 5. McDonell Central will attempt to upgrade on its 10-4 season record. The Cardinals enter the challenge with a 2-9 record after their 10-9 non-league win over Loyal (Loyal, WI).
The Ramblers (0-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Stanley-Boyd (Stanley, WI). The Orioles enter the Cloverbelt - West challenge with a 9-1 record. In their last challenge, Stanley-Boyd overcame Bloomer (Bloomer, WI), 6-4, in a league challenge.
