The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Shamokin Area Indians (Coal Township, PA) and the host Milton Black Panthers (Milton, PA), observed Shamokin Area's softball team prevail over Milton by a tally of 13-2.

The Indians (5-10) will now prepare for their bout against Danville (Danville, PA). The Ironmen go into the non-league bout with a 5-10 record. In their last bout, Danville knocked off Central Mountain (Mill Hall, PA), 8-7, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Black Panthers battle the Bloomsburg Panthers (Bloomsburg, PA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, May 5. Milton will attempt to advance on its 3-11 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 3-13 record after their 16-6 league loss to Hughesville (Hughesville, PA).
