In Monday's league game, the visiting Amity Regional Spartans baseball team scored a nice 15-6 victory over the Cheshire Rams.
The Spartans (1-0) will now prepare for their game against West Haven (West Haven, CT). The Blue Devils go into the Southern Connecticut - Housatonic game with a 2-0 record. In their last game, West Haven overcame Notre Dame (West Haven, CT), 2-0, in a league game.
The Rams (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Shelton (Shelton, CT). The Gaels go into the non-league game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Shelton overcame Sheehan (Wallingford, CT), 12-2, in a non-league game.
