North Carolina High School Baseball - Ashe County loses to Watauga

The Watauga Pioneers crushed the visiting Ashe County Huskies baseball team by a count of 21-1 in Monday's league bout.
The Pioneers now possess a 9-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to South Caldwell for a Northwestern 3A/4A bout on Friday, April 8. Watauga will face a Spartans team coming off a 3-2 league win over Hibriten (Lenoir, NC). The Spartans record now stands at 8-5.
Next, the Huskies face the Forbush Falcons (East Bend, NC) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, April 6. Ashe County will attempt to move on its 2-12 season record. The Falcons enter the bout with a 8-6 record after their 9-4 league loss to Surry Central (Dobson, NC).
