The Maloney Spartans baseball team scored 7 runs and limited the visiting Bristol Central Rams to 2 in the Spartans league victory on Monday.
The Spartans (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Southington (Southington, CT). The Blue Knights go into the non-league match with a 0-0 record.
The Rams (0-1) will now prepare for their match against Rocky Hill (Rocky Hill, CT). The Terriers go into the Central Connecticut - South match with a 2-0 record. In their last match, Rocky Hill edged Plainville (Plainville, CT), 5-4, in a league match.
