The South Gwinnett Comets baseball team scored 8 runs and limited the host Central Gwinnett Black Knights to 3 in the Comets non-league victory on Monday.
The Comets (3-15) will now prepare for their match against Newton (Covington, GA). The Rams go into the AAAAAAA Region 4 match with a 6-11 record. In their last match, Newton was overwhelmed by Grayson (Loganville, GA), 10-0, in a league match.
The Black Knights (5-16) will now prepare for their match against Berkmar (Lilburn, GA). The Patriots go into the non-league match with a 8-1 record. In their last match, Berkmar edged East Jackson (Commerce, GA), 5-1, in a non-league match.
