Alabama High School Baseball - Cornerstone loses to Pleasant Grove

In Monday's non-league game, the host Pleasant Grove Spartans baseball team scored a nice 23-7 victory over the Cornerstone Eagles.
The Spartans (6-6) will now prepare for their game against John Carroll Catholic (Birmingham, AL). The Cavaliers go into the 5A Area 9 game with a 6-15 record. In their last game, John Carroll Catholic was overwhelmed by Chelsea (Chelsea, AL), 10-5, in a non-league game.
The Eagles (4-8) will now prepare for their game against Jackson-Olin (Birmingham, AL). The Mustangs go into the non-league game with a 5-11 record. In their last game, Jackson-Olin overcame Wenonah (Birmingham, AL), 12-2, in a non-league game.
