California High School Baseball - El Monte can't hold off Mountain View

April 4, 2022: El Monte, CA 91731

In Monday's league game, the visiting Mountain View Vikings baseball team scored a tight 1-0 victory over the El Monte Lions.

The Vikings (6-9) will now prepare for their game against Rosemead (Rosemead, CA). The Panthers enter the Mission Valley battle with a 3-8 record. In their last battle, Rosemead was nipped by South El Monte (South El Monte, CA), 11-2, in a league battle.

The Lions now possess a 0-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Marshall for a Mission Valley battle on Friday, April 8. El Monte will play a Eagles squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to Gabrielino (San Gabriel, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 13-4.
