New York High School Baseball - New Rochelle nips Fox Lane

April 4, 2022: Bedford, NY 10506

New Rochelle Huguenots (New Rochelle, NY) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host Fox Lane Foxes (Bedford, NY), 5-4 in a league test.

With the win, New Rochelle upgrades its record to 1-2 on the season. The Huguenots host Port Chester (Port Chester, NY) to battle the Rams in a Section 1 Conference 1 - A test on Wednesday, April 6. The Rams come into the test with a record of 2-1. Port Chester won 3-2 in their recent non-league test against Saunders Trades & Tech (Yonkers, NY)

With the defeat, Fox Lane falls to 1-2 on the season. The Foxes travel to Carmel (Carmel, NY) to battle the Rams in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 5. The Rams come into the test with a record of 3-0. Carmel won 5-0 in their recent non-league test against Mahopac (Mahopac, NY)
