Mississippi High School Baseball - Rosa Fort loses to Independence

The Independence Wildcats baseball team scored 16 runs and limited the host Rosa Fort Lions to 1 in the Wildcats league victory on Monday.
The Wildcats (13-9) will now prepare for their match against South Pontotoc (Pontotoc, MS). The Cougars go into the non-league match with a 11-9 record. In their last match, South Pontotoc was overwhelmed by Ripley (Ripley, MS), 8-0, in a league match.
The Lions (2-3) will now prepare for their match against North Panola (Sardis, MS). The Cougars go into the 3A Region 2 match with a 5-8 record. In their last match, North Panola gained a win over Holly Springs (Holly Springs, MS), 8-0, in a league match.
