The Straughn Tigers (Andalusia, AL) baseball trounced the host Kinston Bulldogs (Kinston, AL), 14-3 in Monday's non-league contest.
Coming up next, the Tigers play the Ashford Yellowjackets (Ashford, AL) in a 4A Area 2 contest, on Thursday, April 7. Straughn will attempt to better on its 7-7 season record. The Yellowjackets enter the contest with a 6-7 record after their 6-5 non-league loss to Geneva County (Hartford, AL).
The Bulldogs now sport a 4-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Florala for a 1A Area 2 contest on Tuesday, April 12.
