The Trinity Chargers baseball team scored 14 runs and limited the visiting Midland Texas Leadership Charter Academy to 10 in the Chargers non-league victory on Monday.
The Chargers (2-2) will now prepare for their match against Ropes (Ropesville, TX). The Eagles go into the non-league match with a 10-8 record. In their last match, Ropes edged Morton (Morton, TX), 16-5, in a league match.
The (4-4) will now prepare for their match against Van Horn (Van Horn, TX). The Eagles go into the 1A Region I District 5 match with a 0-2 record. In their last match, Van Horn was overwhelmed by Midland Texas Leadership Charter Academy (Midland, TX), 7-6, in a league match.
