The Compton Early College Rising Phoenix volleyball team (Compton, CA), went down 3-0 in Monday's league challenge with the host Ambassador Lions (Torrance, CA)

With the win, Ambassador upgrades its record to 4-2 on the year. The Lions host Animo Leadership (Inglewood, CA) to play the Aztec Eagles in a Mulholland bout on Wednesday, April 6. The Aztec Eagles go into the bout with a record of 0-3. Animo Leadership lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against Shalhevet (Los Angeles, CA)

The Rising Phoenix now own a 2-6 record. They play next when they travel to Wiseburn- Da Vinci for a Mulholland bout on Tuesday, April 5. Compton Early College will play a Wolves squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Beverly Hills (Beverly Hills, CA). The Wolves record now stands at 16-6.
